Problem Description

For Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) only, when the Agent related reports summary is run for dates later than 8 September, 2016 the report fails with this error:

1265: Overflow occurred on a datetime or interval operation.

An error can also appear in the Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD) Supervisor Real Time Reports.

In order to validate further, use the platform CLI and run this command and observe the output:

run uccx sql db_cra call sp_agent_all_fields('2016-09-09

01:45:00','2016-09-10 15:46:40','0',null,null,' name>',null)

Internal CLI Error: java.sql.SQLException: Overflow

occurred on a datetime or interval operation.

Command failed.

Background

Cisco wrote a utility library in order to calculate a time delta between two dates.

Due to the code, dates later than 8 September, 2016 generate a negative value and the report generation fails.

Problem Symptom

Unable to run Agent Reports and receive this error:

CAD email reports as well as specific reports are also impacted

Workaround/Solution

Follow the instructions provided in the Read-me document of the COP file in order to apply the COP file released for the defect.

The reports between the time when this issue occurred and this fix is applied will not be available because those records are written in the database (date and time field) with null values. For CAD Email Reports, reports will fail if there are any unhandled emails that came in between 9/8/2016 and when the COP file was installed. If none of these emails are in a CSQ folder or Agent's mailbox, the report should run. This is because these emails are still marked with a null date.
