Audience
This guide is designed for personnel who install, configure, and maintain the Cisco Prime NAM 2300 series appliance. To use this hardware publication, you should be familiar with internetworking equipment and cabling, and have a basic knowledge of electronic circuitry and wiring practices.

Note Means reader take note. Notes contain helpful suggestions or references to material not covered in the manual.
Timesaver Means the described action saves time. You can save time by performing the action described in the paragraph.
Tip Means the following information will help you solve a problem. The tips information might not be troubleshooting or even an action, but could be useful information, similar to a Timesaver.

Means

Safety Warnings
Safety warnings appear throughout this publication in procedures that, if performed incorrectly, might harm you. A warning symbol precedes each warning statement.
