YANG Actions

Revision of openconfig-platform.yang (OC-platform) model from version 0.4.0 to version 0.11.0.

OC models are industry-wide standard YANG models from standard bodies such as Google, IETF and IEEE.

The initial support for OC-platform model, version 0.4.0 was added in Cisco IOS XR release 6.2.1. This version extracted basic component information from the system such as name, description, serial number and so on. IOS XR release 6.6.1 supports the revised version 0.11.0 of this model. This version extracts additional component information such as operational state, available and utilized memory, allocated and used power, temperature, power-supply, fan, linecard and so on.

Revision of OC LACP model from 1.0.2 to 1.1.0

The Open Config Link Aggregation Control Protocol (OC LACP) model defined by the OC community, helps manage LACP-enabled bundles and member interfaces. Currently, the native yang models for LACP in Cisco IOS XR are based on OC LACP version 1.0.2. The model is upgraded to be in-line with the latest OC LACP version 1.1.0.

These two new parameters are added to the member state data:
  • port number

  • partner port number

Note

In Cisco IOS XR Release 6.6.2, for the OpenConfig LACP model, a get-config request erroneously returns non-bundle interfaces as well.
