This article is one in a series to assist in the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Cisco Small Business products (formerly Linksys Business Series).

Q. How can I make NodePhone changes on the SPA3000?

A.

You have the option to make NodePhone changes to make your SPA3000 sound more Australian. For instructions, follow the directions below.

Step 1:
Access the SPA3000's web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
Click Admin Login then advanced.

Step 3:
Click Regional and go to the Call Progress Tones section.

Step 4:
Look for Dial tone and enter "400@-16,425@-16,450@-16;10(*/0/1+2+3)" on the field provided.

Step 5:
Look for Second Dial Tone and enter "420@-19,520@-19;10(*/0/1+2)" on the field provided.

Step 6:
Look for Outside Dial Tone and enter "420@-16;10(*/0/1">"420@-16;10(*/0/1)" on the field provided.

Step 7:
Look for Prompt Tone and enter "520@-19,620@-19;10(*/0/1+2)" on the field provided.

Step 8:
Look for Busy Tone and enter "425@-16;10(.375/.375/1)" on the field provided.

Step 9:
Look for Ring Back Tone and enter "440@-19,480@-19;*(2/4/1+2)" on the field provided.

Step 10:
Go to the Distinctive Ring Patterns section. Look for Ring1 Cadence and enter "60(.4/.2,.4/2)" on the field provided.

 

Step 11:
Look for Ring2 Cadence and enter "60(.3/.2,1/.2,.3/4)" on the field provided.

Note: After making all the changes outlined above your SPA3000 device should successfully connect to NodePhone and sound like an Australian phone service.
