Q. How do I change the LAN IP address of my SPA3102?

A. You must change the LAN IP address of the SPA3102 in order to avoid IP address conflicts between the SPA and the router.

Q. How do I save the SPA3102 configuration?

A. There are two sections that must be saved separately: the routing/networking configuration and the voice configuration.

  • Routing/Networking Configuration

    1. Open a browser, and enter http://<device_IP_address>/admin/advanced.

    2. Use the Save As feature on your browser in order to write the configuration to a single file.

      • In Internet Explorer, choose File > Save As, and then choose Web Page from the Save as type drop-down list.

      • In FireFox, choose File > Save Page As, and then choose Web Page from the Save as type drop-down list.

    3. Save the file with this naming convention: SPA3102Router_date_time.html

      For example: SPA3102Router_Feb182009_09h18.html

  • Voice Configuration

    1. Open a browser, and enter http://<device_IP_address>/admin/voice/advanced.

    3. Save the file with this naming convention: SPA3102Voice_date_time.html

Note: Once the configurations are saved, your passwords do not display on the front page.
