Cisco HCS and Prime Collaboration Assurance

Cisco HCS uses Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance for its integrated service assurance management of Cisco voice and video collaboration environments. This management includes continuous, real-time monitoring of Cisco Unified communications and TelePresence systems, including their infrastructures.

Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance 12.1 Service Pack 3 functions with Unified Communication 12.5 or later.

Important

  • The management license packages for the Cisco HCS 10.x and later releases include the license for Prime Collaboration Assurance 10.x/11.x/12.x.

  • The Prime Collaboration Assurance 12.1 and above MSP mode supports large and very large OVA. See the Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance and Analytics Install and Upgrade Guide for detailed information.

  • If you are using one of these HCS releases and upgrade to Prime Collaboration Assurance 12.1 and above, then upgrade the license for Prime Collaboration Assurance. Also upgrade any add-on licenses for Prime Collaboration Assurance.

  • If a Service Pack is available for Prime Collaboration Assurance, install the latest version of the Service Pack for MSP as described in the Readme. You can find Service Packs for your version of Prime Collaboration Assurance on the Download Software page.


Enabling HCM-F and Prime Collaboration Assurance to Communicate

The HCM-F versions compatible with Prime Collaboration Assurance is specified in the table. Prime Collaboration Assurance 11.6 and above version supports enhanced security.


Note

You must install the latest patch file for Prime Collaboration Assurance and Analytics 12.1 and above version to enable migration using DMA tools. Install the patch on Prime Collaboration Assurance using the link: Download Software. See the Readme for installation instructions.

Note

  • Different versions of Prime Collaboration Assurance running in the same environment are not supported.

  • HCM-F does not support uninstalling of cop files.

  • Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution supports a single HCM-F with one or more PCA for monitoring customer and devices.
