Supported Cards for M12 Chassis
This appendix provides information about M12 chassis support for Flex with TCC3 controller card.
When you configure the demand on CTP using the legacy TXP/MXP cards, after analysis, CTP automatically places M12 chassis with the following legacy TXP/MXP cards.

The Client1+1, Y-Cable, PSM-OCH, Fiber-SW and P-Ring protection, and regeneration on legacy TXP card are not supported for Flex package.

Limitations for Legacy Card Support in Flex

The legacy cards are supported only in the M12 shelf with TCC3 subtended on a NC with M6 or M15 shelves.

You can provision only the above listed TXP/MXP cards on the M12 shelf.

Only the MD0, MD2a/b/c (Directional Colored) and MD3, MD10 (Omni-Colored) Flex ROADM configurations are supported for the legacy cards with the filtering A/D stages.
Either by using Arraged Waveguide Grating (AWG) or with colorless unit that filters each single channel. The cards cannot be used in splitter/coupler based colorless A/D or in any connectionless stage.
