Uninstalling Cisco Video Assurance Management Solution 2.0

Note You can also use this procedure to uninstall a previous version of the Cisco VAMS software.
To uninstall Cisco VAMS 1.5:
Step 1 Log in to the server as the root user.
Step 2 Insert the Cisco VAMS 1.5 installation DVD into the DVD drive on your system.
Step 3 Change the directory to the installation directory.
For example:
where
$ANAROOT is the ANA installation directory.
Step 4 Start the uninstall script.
Do you want to remove this package? [y,n,?,q] ?
Step 5 Enter y to continue. A message similar to the following appears:
## Removing installed package instance <CSCOcims>
## Verifying package <CSCOcims> dependencies in global zone
## Processing package information.
## Executing preremove script.
Restoring configuration file
Removal of <CSCOcims> was successful.
Uninstalling Cisco VAMS 2.0
To uninstall Cisco VAMS 2.0:
Step 1 Log in to the server as the root user.
Step 2 Insert the Cisco VAMS 2.0 installation DVD into the DVD drive on your system.
Step 3 Change the directory to the installation directory.
For example:
where
$ANAROOT is the ANA installation directory.
Step 4 Start the uninstall script.
Do you want to remove this package? [y,n,?,q] ?
Step 5 Enter y to continue. A message similar to the following appears:
