To request to become a SAMT Admin please contact web-help-sr@cisco.com with the contracts or Bill-to Ids that you would like to be admin for. These requests may require Cisco account manager approval.

For Cisco

With SAMT, customers and partners can provide their users with access to their service contracts. Cisco account representatives should encourage their customers and partners to manage their own access using SAMT. That way, they will be able to easily access the Cisco Technical Services attached to those service contracts.

To help prevent unauthorized access to SAMT, Cisco account representatives should request access to SAMT on behalf of their customers and partners.

It is not recommended that Cisco employees use SAMT to manage service contract access on behalf of their customers and partners. Instead, the customers and partners themselves should be encouraged to use SAMT, since they have a better understanding of which users need access to their service contracts.

To support your customers as they get started with SAMT, visit the SAMT Training page.
