WSCA Overview

The Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) is an alliance among the 15 western states identified above that establishes cooperative buying vehicles for public sector purchasers within those states. The resulting multistate cooperative contracts are open to use by all state purchasers, as well as local governments, K-12 educational institutions and public colleges and universities within those states. Other public sector state and local government entities are eligible to use WSCA contracts with the permission of WSCA.

The State of Utah, as the "WSCA Lead State," has established the Cisco WSCA Networking Communications Master Agreement on behalf of all WSCA member states. As a result, all member states are eligible to use this contract by simply executing a state-specific WSCA Participating Addendum with Cisco.

Current Participants Under This Contract

Public sector purchasers located in WSCA member states that are actively participating in the WSCA contract are eligible to buy under this contract immediately if they have independent legal authority to purchase under procurement contracts established by their state.

Getting Started: WSCA Member State

If you are a WSCA Member State and would like to participate in this buying vehicle, getting started is simple:

1. Contact us to create user account and find contact information to establish a business relationship with Cisco.
2. Obtain information and download a copy of the WSCA Participating Addendum.

Getting Started: WSCA Nonmember State

You may be eligible to use this contract if you are:

• A state that is not currently a member of WSCA
• A local government or educational buyer in a WSCA member state that:
  • Has not chosen to participate
  • Has established state purchasing restrictions for products or services that you are otherwise eligible to buy

To get started:

For States:

1. Your State Procurement Manager must request permission to participate under the terms of this contract in writing to ; Debbie Gundersen, WSCA Contract Administrator at dgundersen@utah.gov
2. Log In to www.cisco.com to obtain a user account and contact information for establishing a business relationship with Cisco.
3. Obtain information and download a copy of the WSCA Participating Addendum.

For Political Subdivisions:

1. Your Procurement Manager must request permission to participate under the terms of the WSCA contract in writing to your State Procurement Manager.
2. Ask that your State Procurement Manager forward your request to Debbie Gundersen, WSCA Contract Administrator at dgundersen@utah.gov
3. After receiving approval of your request from WSCA, login to www.cisco.com to obtain a user account and contact information for establishing a business relationship with Cisco.
4. Obtain information and download a copy of the WSCA Participating Addendum.
