Cisco is introducing the new Cisco® 10Gig Base-T Copper Network Module. The new Cisco 10GB-T Network Module, with the same fit and form as the other uplink modules, is hot-swappable and can operate at either 10GE or GE speed (with manual configuration). See Table 1 for supported cables.
Primary Features and Benefits
Cisco 10GB-T Network Module primary features:
• Connecting the wiring closet switches to the aggregation or distribution switches where distance is limited to 100m
• Data center application, connecting the Top of Rack 3750-X or 3560-X switches to the aggregation switch with distance limited to 100m
• Cost-effectively daisy chaining multiple standalone 3560-X series switches
