Security Policies for Self-Encrypting Drives, and KMIP Support	Self-Encrypting Drives (SEDs) have a special hardware that encrypts incoming data and decrypts outgoing data in real-time. A media encryption key controls this encryption and decryption. SEDs need to be locked by providing a security key identifier and a security key. The security key is used to encrypt the media encryption key. You can configure security keys locally, or remotely using a KMIP server.
