Priority Flow Control (PFC) |
Priority Flow Control (PFC) is a mechanism that prevents frame loss that is due to transient congestion. During congestion, PFC sends a pause frame that indicates which CoS value needs to be paused. By configuring PFC, you ensure that the data packets are handled efficiently. |

PFC feature enhancement |
The PFC feature enhancements include support for CISCO-PFC-EXT-MIB and various show commands to filter and fetch the PFC operational parameters. In addition to certain line cards in the NCS5500 modular chassis, this release also brings PFC support on some of the 55A1 fixed chassis variants. |
