Error Description
Software Error 514 indicates that the software modified more memory than requested for a data element. If the data field shows 0xXXADFACE, the overwrite is only one byte (XX can be any value), and there is probably not a problem. If the data field does not contain any of the 0xDEADFACE flag, the overwrite is possibly large, and must be investigated by engineering.
Large overwrites contribute to 1M3 aborts, as well as other data corruption problems. For example:
