Q. Why does my CD One 5th Edition install stop during installation on a Solaris machine?
A. When you install CD One 5th Edition in a machine that has the CPU in slots other than zero (0), the installation terminates abnormally. To verify if your CPU is in a slot other than zero, issue this command:
psrinfoIf the return value is other than zero (0), the installation of CD One Edition 5 terminates abruptly. Refer to Cisco bug ID CSCdx87041 ( registered customers only) for an explanation.
Q. What options should I choose when I install CD One 5th Edition?
A. You should always choose option 4. If you choose any other option, the Resource Manager Essentials (RME) and Campus installation can fail for lack of necessary components. The failure results in the reinstallation of CD One with option 4 selected.
Q. Can I modify (or patch) the Apache web server that CiscoWorks installs?
A. A customized version of the Apache web server installs along with CD One/Common Services. There is no support for modification of the Apache web server.
