It supports a wide assortment of features, including dual firmware images and redundant power configurations using an external RPSU, to maximize your system's availability.

The switch's 24 gigabit Ethernet ports are geared for high throughput, and included quality of service (QoS) functionality prioritizes applications for maximum performance. You can also cut down on accessory power cables for connected devices, as the SGE2000P supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).

Additional features of the Cisco SGE2000P Gigabit Switch includes:

• A nonblocking switching capacity of 48 Gbps
• Four additional gigabit SFP slots for network expansion
• Support for up to 256 port- and 802.1q-based VLANs
