Formerly Linksys Business Series, now Cisco Small Business Managed Switches, the SGE2000 Gigabit Switch plays a central role in keeping your data safe. It supports a wide assortment of features, including dual firmware images and redundant power configurations using an external RPSU to maximize your system's availability.

The switch's 24 gigabit Ethernet ports are geared for high throughput, and included quality of service (QoS) functionality prioritizes your applications for maximum performance. In addition, the SGE2000 keeps data secure using a variety of authentication, access, and filtering methods.

Additional features of the SGE2000 Gigabit Switch include:

• A nonblocking switching capacity of 48 Gbps
• Four additional gigabit SFP slots for network expansion
• Support for up to 256 port- and 802.1q-based VLANs
