End-of-Life Announcement for Cisco Service Expansion Shelf PNNI Controller Software Versions 1.0.x and 1.1.6.x
Cisco Systems is officially announcing the end of sales and end of life (EOS/EOL) for the Cisco Service Expansion Shelf (SES) Switch Software versions 1.0.x and 1.1.6x with an effective announcement date of June 28, 2002. Cisco customers may continue to receive software support for a longer period as set forth in the milestones and timelines in Table 1.
Cisco SES Switch Software Release 1.1.70 or later releases will replace the software versions affected by this announcement. Cisco SES Switch Software Release 1.1.70 or later software releases will have additional PNNI features, bug fixes, and support higher connection counts than previous SES 1.0.x software releases. Customers are encouraged to upgrade to the later software releases to take advantage of these enhancements.

This includes processing RMA orders for components with this system configuration; it is also the date that the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) will no longer have any obligation to assist customers with any issues related to this software. Any assistance rendered by Cisco will be on an as available basis without warranties at the sole discretion of Cisco Systems.
