Cisco Selects Compro to Support the
Cisco VCO/4K Switches Worldwide
With the end of sale of the Cisco VCO/4K open programmable switches (March 1, 2002 announcement at: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/so/neso/voso/ps/1545_pp.htm) and the dramatic decrease in spending in the telecom market, many of the Cisco VCO/4K voice application partners [VAPs] are either out of business or unable to support their end customers. End customers continue to look to Cisco to provide support for the Cisco VCO/4K.
To ensure ongoing availability of support to end customers, Cisco has entered into an agreement with Compro Technologies Inc., a New Jersey, United States-based telephony application developer and services company, to offer worldwide support for the Cisco VCO/4K product line. This agreement is effective May 16, 2002.
As one of the original Cisco VAP partners, Compro has had a close relationship with Cisco for more than eight years. Compro will offer a comprehensive list of services worldwide, including: technical support, hardware replacement, onsite and remote monitoring service plans, custom service-level agreements (SLAs), programming, quality assurance, systems integration, and consulting. Compro also will provide assistance and software tools for migrating Cisco VCO® applications to next-generation Cisco voice-over-IP (VoIP) gateways.
If you are looking for a service provider for the Cisco VCO/4K product or need help with your migration plans, contact Compro Technologies, Inc. The company will work with you on your individual Cisco VCO/4K service needs.
Note With this outsourced agreement, your relationship will be with Compro and not with Cisco. Compro will be your single point of contact for your Cisco VCO/4K service. For all other Cisco products, continue to follow your normal support process.
