Product Support Entitlements
The Cisco 1501-8U hub came with a 1-Year Return to Factory warranty. Cisco will honor these original warranties, providing in-warranty hardware repair or replacement on a return-to-factory basis.

Cisco 1502-8E hub is the replacement for Cisco 1501-8U hub. See the table below for recommended substitutions:

Why are we ending sale of the Cisco 1501-8U hub?
To be price competitive, we have reduced the price of a manageable hub to the price of this unmanaged hub. Now 1502-8E is available at 1501-8U price. 1502-8E offers more functionally for the same price. Therefore, it no longer makes sense to offer CISCO1501-8U.
