Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco MGX 8800 Series Legacy Cards. The last day to order the affected product is September 30, 2007. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 in EoL product bulletin.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco MGX 8800 Series Legacy Cards. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.

The recommended replacement for the Cisco MGX 8800 Series Legacy Cards is the Cisco MGX Card with Part Number MGX-RJ45-5-ETH.
