The End-of-Sale date for Cisco® 7200 Network Processing Engines NPE-100 and NPE-150 as well as Cisco 7204 Series Router was April 30, 2000. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until April 30, 2005. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the NPE-100, NPE-150, and Cisco 7204 Series Router. Table 2 lists the product numbers affected by this announcement and replacement product information. This notice is an addendum to the original end-of-sale and end-of-life bulletin for NPE-100, NPE-150, and Cisco 7204 Series Router.
The End of Software Support for NPE-100, NPE-150, and Cisco 7204 Series Router is as follows:
• Software Support ends in 12.1(14)E, 12.2(24), 12.0(27)S, and 12.2(15)T
• Bug fixes will be provided for 36 months after EOS date (April 30, 2000)
• Last date to receive support from the Cisco TAC is April 30, 2005

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The recommended replacement for NPE-100 and NPE-150 is the NPE-400 or NPE-G1. The recommended replacement for Cisco 7204 Series Router is Cisco 7204VXR Series Router. Please note that NPE-400 and NPE-G1 require a Cisco 7200VXR chassis. More information about the NPE-400, NPE-G1, and Cisco 7204VXR Series Router can be found at:
Customers can use the Cisco Technology Migration Program (TMP) to trade in products and receive credit toward the purchase of new Cisco equipment. For more information about Cisco TMP, go to: http://www.cisco.com/go/tradein. The Cisco TMP application requires all users to have a Cisco.com user ID.
