END-OF-LIFE NOTICE, NO. 2831
RATIONALE
With the introduction of 40-MB and 110-MB Flash Disk Personal Computer Memory Card Industry Association (PCMCIA) Memory, Cisco® announces End-of-Sale of 16-MB PCMCIA Flash memory. The Cisco I/O PCMCIA 20-MB Flash memory has been price-reduced so that end customers receive more memory for the same price. 40-MB and 110-MB Flash disk PCMCIA memory is also available. To streamline Cisco 7200 Series product options, the PCMCIA 16-MB Flash will no longer be a configurable option as of January 31, 2000.
PRODUCTS AFFECTED
Prices have changed for the Cisco 7200 I/O PCMCIA Flash Memory, 20-MB option (MEM-I/O-FLC20M and MEM-I/O-FLC20M=). Please contact your account representative for complete details.
SUBSTITUTES
For the NPE-100, NPE-150, and NPE-200, PCMCIA 16-MB Flash memory can be replaced with:
