Naming Rules for Users and Roles
Table A-1 lists the rules for usernames, passwords, and roles.
Table A-1 Allowable Characters for Users and Roles

• Any alphanumeric character and the underscore.

• Case sensitive.
• Any character from Table A-2.

Naming Rules for Names and Descriptions
Table A-2 lists the allowable characters for names and descriptions. The number of characters allowed are:
•
Names—no more than 64 characters allowed
Note
Each job name (configuration, firmware, or AP radio scan) must be unique.
•
Descriptions—no more than 256 characters allowed
Note
Do not use the Enter key in any Description fields.
