Catalyst 4500 Power Supplies

Tables A-5 through A-15 list the specifications for the Catalyst 4500 series power supplies, which can be used in any Catalyst 4500 E-series switch.


Note All Catalyst 4500 series switch AC-input power supplies require single-phase source AC. The source AC can be out of phase between multiple power supplies or multiple AC-power plugs on the same power supply because all AC power supply inputs are isolated. Each chassis power supply should have its own dedicated branch circuit: 15 A or 20 A for North America and circuits sized to local and national codes for International locations.

Note The 6000 W AC power supply should not be used in mixed-voltage configurations. All the inputs in a chassis must be at the same voltage (110 VAC or 220 VAC).
