Preface
This document provides configurat ion and maintenance procedures for the Cisco 7600 FlexWAN module (WS-X6182-2PA) and the fabric-enabled Enhanced FlexWAN module (WS-X6582-2PA).
Note
Cisco IOS Release 12.2SR and later releases do not support the FlexWAN module or the Supervisor Engine 2. These releases support the Enhanced FlexWAN module, Route Switch Processor 720 (RSP720),
Sup720, and Sup32.

• Added references throughout for the new Route Switch Processor 720 (RSP720) and PFC3C and PFC3CXL.
• Added information about ATM packed cell relay over MPLS. See the "ATM Packed Cell Relay over MPLS in VP Mode" section on page 2-65.
Additional updates:
• Added information about VP mode support for ATM cell relay over MPLS (which is supported in Release 12.2SRA and later releases). See the "ATM Cell Relay over MPLS in VP Mode" section on page 2-63.
• Removed the requirement that MPLS core-facing line cards must be CWAN cards. This requirement is no longer valid in Release 12.2SRA and later releases.
• In Chapter 3, noted that the Supervisor Engine 32 supports MPLS. Reorganized the chapter so that all AToM transport types are described in the "Any Transport over MPLS" section on page 2-29. Added the "Configuring the Pseudowire Class" section on page 2-31.

Only trained and qualified service personnel (as defined in IEC 60950 and AS/NZS3260) should install, replace, or service the equipment described in this configuration guide.
