PLMGR_UI Messages

Error Message     

%APP_INFRA-PLMGR_UI-3-CLI_ERR [chars]

Explanation    An unexpected error occurred while parsing the policy manager configuration command. Please try the suggested action in the error message, if any.

Recommended Action    If the action suggested in the error message does not help, try exiting and re-entering the config mode. If this doesn't help either try restarting parser_server.

Error Message     

%APP_INFRA-PLMGR_UI-3-NOMEM Unable to allocate [dec] bytes.

Explanation    The node which logged this message is running low on memory and the requested operation could not be completed.

Recommended Action    Either reduce the configuration applied on this node or increase it memory.

Error Message     

%APP_INFRA-PLMGR_UI-3-PTHREAD [chars] failed. Parsing of class-map/policy-map configuration may not work as expected. Error: '[chars]'

Explanation    The policymgr ui library encountered an error in a pthread operation. This may be critical for proper parsing of class-map or policy-map configuration.

Recommended Action    Try exiting and re-entering the config mode. If this doesn't help try restarting parser_server.

Error Message     

%APP_INFRA-PLMGR_UI-4-DEBUG Failed to [chars] debug [chars]:'[chars]'

Explanation    The policy manager ui library debug(s) could not be initialized. The is a non-fatal error and should not affect the normal functioning of the system. The only effect of this error will be that the policy manager ui library debugs may not show up .

Recommended Action    None.

Error Message     

%APP_INFRA-PLMGR_UI-4-INVAL_DATA [chars] [dec]

Explanation    The policymgr ui library received invalid data from the user interface. Ideally this should never happen and would be caused only by a bug in the code.

Recommended Action    Try exiting and re-entering the config mode. If this doesn't help try restarting parser_server.

Error Message     

%APP_INFRA-PLMGR_UI-4-LTRACE Failed to [chars] ltrace [chars]:'[chars]'

Explanation    The policymgr ui library ltrace infrastructure encountered an error during initialization or displaying ltrace messages, as indicated in the syslog. This should not affect the normal functioning of the system.

Recommended Action    None.

Explanation    Error occured in trying to lookup name for an application type.

Recommended Action    None.

Error Message     

%APP_INFRA-POLICYMGR-3-STATE_CHANGE [chars]: [chars]

Explanation    A fata error occured in policymgr that caused a partial or total dis-function of policymgr

Recommended Action    Try restarting policymgr.

Error Message     

%APP_INFRA-POLICYMGR-7-INIT Policy manager initialization failed in [chars]: [chars]

Explanation    The policy manager process encountered the specified error while initializing the specified facility. If this error occurs, the sysmgr process will restart the policy manager process.
