Table 4-1 Command Summary 

Command	Purpose
Router# hw-module slot slot reset	Reloads the SIP in the specified chassis slot.
Router(config)# hw-module slot slot reset {hold | release}	Deactivates the SIP in the specified slot and shuts down any installed interfaces. Use the following keywords to deactivate and reactivate the SIP: •hold - Deactivates the SIP in the specified chassis slot and any installed SPAs. •release - Reactivates the SIP in the specified chassis slot, and its installed SPAs.
Router# show diag slot/subslot	Displays information for a SIP installed in a chassis slot.
Router# show inventory	Displays inventory information about the installed SIPs and SPAs.
