Cisco Digital Media Creative Services

Deployment of a Digital Media System for digital signage applications requires an infrastructure assessment, identification of network requirements, and platform deployment. In addition, IT and related business stakeholders are often not brought in early enough to digital signage media strategy development; as a result, they miss the key integration of the network and creative tracks.

Cisco Digital Media Creative Services (DMCS) provides services that address all the stages of the integrated content development process, including the Creative Brief, Content Strategy, and Content Design; all are critical items for a successful digital signage deployment. By simultaneously addressing the network and creative tracks, you can accelerate the success of your Digital Media System investment.

Smart Call Home Tip: Use the OS Call Home Feature to Report Diagnostic Events

OS versions with the Call Home feature may report diagnostic event messages using email or HTTP transport options. These messages may be sent to Smart Call Home for further analysis, and, in some cases, service requests may be opened automatically.

To take advantage of this capability, please refer to the Call Home Configuration Guides and Quick Start Guides for your Cisco product on the Smart Call Home page.

Cisco Revises Popular CCIE Routing and Switching Certification

Cisco has revised the certification requirements for CCIE Routing and Switching (CCIE R&S) -- the expert-level certification for network engineers. The revised CCIE R&S v4.0 exams -- which include hands-on troubleshooting, MPLS, and VPN networking -- are scheduled for release on October 18, 2009 and will immediately replace the current v3.0 exams.

The new certification standards reflect the job skills employers are looking for at the expert level and are now available on the Cisco Learning Network under CCIE R&S v4.0 written exam topics and CCIE R&S v4.0 lab exam topics.

In addition, the Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE R&S was recently updated to fully align to the new CCIE R&S certification standards. The Cisco 360 Learning Program is the only expert training currently aligned to the CCIE Certification changes and authorized by Cisco.

Visit the Cisco Learning Network today for more information.
