Revision History
Revision Date Comment 1.0 22-APR-2009 Initial Public Release
Products Affected
Products Affected CiscoWorks Resource Manager Essentials (RME) Versions 4.0.5, 4.0.6, 4.1, 4.1.1, and 4.2
Problem Description
Contract Connection Reports in RME uses certain URLs in Cisco.com to fetch the data associated with the contract specified by the user. The Contract Connection module within Cisco.com has now migrated to a new environment which mandates user authentication before returning the contract data. The existing Contract Connection Reports in RME will fail to generate the desired report as the URL used for communicating with Cisco.com has been modified.
Background
Contract Connection module within Cisco.com has now been migrated to a new environment. This environment has improved security, and the new URLs mandate authenticating user details before returning the contract data.
Problem Symptoms
Contract Connection Reports in RME, pertaining to the releases mentioned under the Products Affected category, will fail. This symptom will not appear before March 31, 2009 as the old Cisco.com environment will be made available till March 31, 2009.
Workaround/Solution
A patch is available for the following RME versions:
- RME 4.0.6
