Subscription requirements
An active Cisco DNA Software subscription is required to activate cloud monitoring for your Catalyst devices.
When a customer purchases a Catalyst 9000 switch, a three-year subscription is included. After three years, the customer must renew the subscription to activate cloud monitoring with the Meraki dashboard.
