Udit heads Strategy, Planning and Sales Operations for Cisco India and SAARC. In his current role, Udit is responsible for developing strategy for Cisco India and managing sales operations across different segments.
A senior business professional, with more than 17 years of experience, he has built and managed high-growth businesses for large multinationals, as well as startups, primarily across the Healthcare, Telecom, and IT sectors.
Udit spent the initial decade of his career in technology, primarily working on VoIP technologies, IP-PBX, and wireless soft switches with companies such as 3Com and Huawei. Udit also holds a US patent related to feature-based services in SIP IP-PBX services.
In his earlier stint at Philips Healthcare, Udit grew the cardiology (B2B) and Sleep & Respiratory (B2B2C) businesses in both market share and profitability. Udit also spearheaded the strategic initiative to create the new Philips Home Healthcare subsidiary in India.
Udit has also served as Chief Business Officer for Qorql, an early-stage healthcare analytics startup, where he started and expanded the commercial operations to multiple cities in North India. A great believer in making practical strategies and unlocking growth by tapping whitespaces, Udit is also passionate about leveraging the ‘power of digital’ for positive impact in organizations and people’s lives.
Udit is a Computer Science graduate from IIT Delhi and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
