duplicate_control_messages_total

Currently, this KPI only accounts duplicate messages detected using version number. This metric is enhanced to also account the duplicate messages received for local peers received over global control plane.

A peer status message published by a system on global control plane is also received by nodes local to the system. These messages are redundant and are dropped as nodes local to a site learn the topology directly over local control plane.
