S-GW supports roaming only subscribers for the S8HR LI feature.

Feature Changes

Previous Behavior: The S-GW S8HR Lawful Interception (LI) feature was applicable for all subscribers in addition to the existing APN check based on PLMN profile that indicates HOME or ROAMING.

New Behavior: The S-GW S8HR Lawful Interception (LI) feature is applicable for both roaming only subscribers and all subscriber BBIFF interception.

Command Changes

The following configuration describes how to configure the S8HR LI feature in the S-GW for only roaming subscribers.

    require s8hr-tcp-proxy { multiple | single } roamer-only 
    end

NOTES:

  • require s8hr-tcp-proxy single : One-connection proxy runs in a chassis (demux card).

  • require s8hr-tcp-proxy multiple : One-connection proxy runs in each DPC card.

  • require s8hr-tcp-proxy multi/single roamer-only : Enables the S8HR feature only for roaming subscribers, if configured. If not configured, then, the S8HR feature is applicable for all the subscribers belonging to the S8HR apn list.
