Description

Controls whether the extension of a line key must be disabled to apply the Programmable Line Key (PLK) configuration.

Before the 11.3(7) release, you must disable the extension of a line key to apply the PLK configuration.

If the parameter is set to Yes, you can skip disabling the extension of a line key, and you can directly configure the PLK on a line key.

If the parameter is set to No, you still need to disable the extension of a line key to apply the PLK configuration.

To make this feature take effect, ensure that the <Proxy_n_> and <User_ID_n_> are empty, where n is the extension number of the line key.

Note

The Direct PLK Configuration feature on a certain line key doesn't work in the following situations:

  • <Make_Call_Without_Reg_n_> is Yes, where n is the extension number of the line key.

  • <Bluetooth_Mode> is Handsfree or Both, and <Line> is configured with a number. For example, <Line> is 2. In this case, the feature doesn't work on the line key with the extension number 2.
