Dear Cisco Customer,
Cisco announced End of Life(EOL) for HyperFlex in September 2023. As part of the lifecycle process, the HyperFlex Data Platform (HXDP) software will reach End of Maintenance (Eom) on September 11, 2025. After this date, Cisco will not provide any additional maintenance releases or bug fixes for the Cisco HXDP software.
Background
Running software beyond its EoM window increases the risk to production environments, including potential compatibility issues and a lack of remediation for newly discovered defects. Cisco strongly recommends that customers plan and start their migration from HyperFlex to Nutanix HCI on Cisco UCS, or another suitable solution, as soon as possible.
Customers who choose to continue using Cisco HyperFlex after the EoM date will continue to receive best-effort TAC support without any additional patch or maintenance releases until the Last Date of Support, February 28, 2029. However, no new maintenance releases will be available.
