CTS 1.9.x Software Compatibility

The deployments of software in this matrix are tested. See the footnotes for additional information about each deployment. For CTS, CTS-Manager, and CTMS, software versions in the same train (for example, all 1.8.x versions) are supported in the deployment unless otherwise noted.

NoteCTS Release 1.9.x is compatible with CTS Releases 1.7.x and 1.8.x. CTS Release 1.9.x is compatible with CTS Releases 1.7.x and 1.8.x.

Table 1 summarizes CTS 1.9.x compatibility.

The dash (—) signifies that the device is not tested or not applicable for that specific deployment.

Use the SIP75 phone load version for systems that use a Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975 for call control. Use the SIP70 phone load version for systems that use a Cisco Unified IP Phone 7970 for call control.

4.Systems that are registered to Unified CM release 10.0 only: A minimum of Cisco TelePresence Administration software TX 6.1.1. or 1.10.4 software is required for the directory feature (if configured) to work on your system.

5.Versions of CTS-Manager above Version 1.9.2 are also compatible.

6.Systems that are registered to Unified CM release 10.0 only: A minimum of Cisco TelePresence Administration software TX 6.1.1. or 1.10.4 software is required for the directory feature (if configured) to work on your system.

7.The Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS) was tested with systems running CTS software 1.9.x as part of a backward compatibility test with systems running later versions of the Cisco TelePresence software. TMS release 13.2.2 was tested with these systems. No problems were found during testing.

8.A phone load version is required only if your system uses a Cisco Unified IP Phone for call control. Use the SIP75 phone load version for systems that use a Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975 for call control. Use the SIP70 phone load version for systems that use a Cisco Unified IP Phone 7970 for call control.

9.Cisco Unified CM 8.5.x treats TC endpoints as third-party SIP endpoints.

10.Cisco Unified CM 8.5.x does not support BFCP.

11.CTS-Manager 1.7.x treats TC endpoints as video conferencing devices (no One Button to Push functionality).

12.The CTS TX9000 and CTS TX1310 65 systems require a minimum of CTS-Manager 1.7(5) or 1.8(1) and higher.

Additional Information about CTS 1.9.x Compatibility

  • The minimum software releases for these endpoints are the following:

– TX1310 47: 1.8.0

– TX9000: 1.9.0

– TX1300 65: 1.9.0.1

  • The software releases for these products are tested with the deployments in this matrix (See Table 1 ):

– Session Border Control (SBC): ASR-SBC 3.4.2

– Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE): CISCO 2800 ADV ENT 15.1.4 IOS

– Cisco Jabber for Windows Release 9.0
