Introduction
Cisco Configuration Professional for Catalyst (Cisco CPC) is a graphical configuration application that offers simplified device configuration and management through a Web user interface.
Cisco CPC is currently supported on Cisco Catalyst 2960-L series switches, Cisco Catalyst Digital Building Series Switches, Catalyst 2960-C series switches, Cisco Catalyst 2960 Plus switches, Cisco Catalyst 2960-X series switches, Cisco Catalyst 2960-XR series switches, Cisco Catalyst 2960-CX and Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX series switches.
New models supported by Cisco CPC 1.3.1
Beginning release 1.3.1, Cisco CPC is supported on the following hardware models of the 2960-L series switches.

Description
Command Line Interface for Web UI
Allows you to run supported CLI commands from the Web user interface.
Exporting logs and port monitoring data
Exporting logs- enables you to export system logs from the Dashboard.
Port monitoring data - enables you to track and monitor the port parameters like description, port status, type, and so on.
Export and Restore
Export - enables you to take a backup of the switch configuration and store it on the local hard disk or on a remote tftp server.
Restore - allows you to transfer a configuration file to the switch which was previously backed up. Once restarted, the switch will come up with this configuration.
Bluetooth
Allows you to turn on or turn off the Bluetooth capability on supported switches.
Static Routing
Allows you to configure static routes on supported switches.
Blink LEDs
Allows you to set LED status to ON to indicate port status on Cisco Catalyst Digital Building Series switches.
Find Switch
Enables you to switch on the beacon LED on Cisco Catalyst Digital Building Series switches.
DHCP
Allows you to configure DHCP on the switches.
EtherChannel
You can create EtherChannels by selecting multiple ports in the port configuration window and providing a Portgroup number as applicable for the platform.
Display serial number
Displays the switch serial number in the switch view.

Note To determine the release of Cisco IOS software currently running on your Cisco device, log in to the device and enter the showversion EXEC command. The second line of the display shows the version.
Caveats
The following caveats describe unexpected behavior in Cisco Configuration Professional for Catalyst. Severity 1 caveats are the most serious caveats, severity 2 caveats are less serious, and severity 3 caveats are the least serious of these three severity levels.
Cisco Bug Search Tool
The Bug Search Tool (BST), which is the online successor to Bug Toolkit, is designed to improve the effectiveness in network risk management and device troubleshooting. The BST allows partners and customers to search for software bugs based on product, release, and keyword, and aggregates key data such as bug details, product, and version. The tool has a provision to filter bugs based on credentials to provide external and internal bug views for the search input.
