Introduction

The following release notes support the Cisco IC3000. These release notes are updated to describe new features, limitations, troubleshooting, recommended configurations, caveats, and provide information on how to obtain support and documentation.

The Cisco IC3000 operates on the following Cisco IOS images:

  • IC3000-K9-1.5.1.SPA

Major Enhancements

Release 1.5.1 has the following enhancements:

CSCwf68719 - Data Wipe for IC3000

Enhancements to the factory reset mechanism to implement secure erase of the internal storage devices to ensure data privacy. There is no functional change.

CSCwf81626 - Change net-admin configuration security_config.yaml

Allows Cyber Vision IOX app to run on IC3K. The net-admin flag needs to be set to ON to allow setting MTU and create trunks.

Caveats

Caveats describe unexpected behavior in Cisco IOS releases. Caveats listed as open in a prior release are carried forward to the next release as either open or resolved.

Description

CSCwh51084

Domain name is not reflected in LM under DNS Settings.

Symptoms: Domain name is not reflected in LM DNS and NTP settings under System info tab.

CSCwh63102

Unable to Push NTP configs from FND to IC3k device.

Symptoms: FND is not be able to push NTP configs to IC3k device, during NTP mode select and IP config Push. This behavior is observed from FND only and there is no impact from the platform side.
