Release Notes for NBAR2 Protocol Pack 27.0.0

Overview

In this Protocol Pack release, attribute values for about 60 protocols have been updated to improve accuracy. Updated attributes include category, sub-category, business-relevance, and traffic-class. For a list of affected protocols, see Updated Protocols in NBAR2 Protocol Pack 27.0.0.

Updating the attributes assigned to network applications identified by NBAR2 may affect how existing configurations report and manage application traffic. For example, adding protocols to, or removing protocols from a particular traffic class will affect class maps using this traffic class. This can change the expected behavior of existing configurations.
