Release Notes for NBAR2 Protocol Pack 22.0.0

Overview

NBAR2 Protocol Pack 22.0.0 adds several improvements to Protocol Pack functionality:

  • Improved classification of many client programs through HTTP user-agents.

  • New capabilities for classifying clients and servers in the network.

  • Separate classification of audio and video for cisco-spark and web-rtc protocols.

  • Improved separation of various Google services, using socket-cache mechanism.

  • Improvements to host-based signatures.

NBAR2 Protocol Pack 22.0.0 is supported on the following platforms:

  • Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers (ASR1000)

  • Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR4000)

  • Cisco Integrated Services Routers Generation 2 (ISRG2)
