Known Issues and Workarounds

Defect Description Workaround/Comments
CSCwn24836 EMS displays "UNKNOWN" for device family, platform, and version for certain uploaded images. This issue is typically observed with tar files containing k9sec images. These are not properly added to EMS and the CWM Solutions image repository.
CSCwo40515 EMS does not validate or differentiate images based on PID under the ASR1K product family. Although this bug is now closed, it is important to document because of the wide variety of ASR1K image variants. Using an incorrect image version can potentially render a device inoperable.
CSCwo63147 UI search functionality fails on Page 2; the list view is not reset when performing a search. This is a known UI limitation in version 7.1.
CSCwp01269 Image Policy: Search functionality only filters the first page of data. UI filters do not apply beyond the first page of search results.
CSCwp20738 Initial import of MOPs after a fresh CWM Solutions installation requires manual sync. A manual "Sync Actions" step must be completed before importing MOPs.
CSCwo89804 The router summary workflow generates a large input file that exceeds CWM capacity. For devices with extensive route summary configurations, the workflow may produce output too large for CWM to handle, resulting in workflow failure.
CSCwp13129 CWM Solutions permits deletion of a MOP during an active fleet upgrade job. Although a negative use case, there is currently no restriction in CWM Solutions preventing MOP deletion during an upgrade.
CSCwp20753 UI error messages appear during installation of CWM and CWM Solutions. These are cosmetic issues caused by infra pod restarts, which temporarily bring down the API server. The issue resolves automatically, and UI errors clear once the services restart.
