Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an application layer protocol that is used to manage and monitor a network. For the different SNMP features to work properly you first need to enable the SNMP service. This article explains how to enable SNMP Service on the 300 Series Managed Switches.

Step 1. log in to the web configuration utility and choose Security > TCP/UDP Services. The TCP/UDP Services page opens:
