Be the Bridge

Cisco’s annual giving campaign

Be the Bridge is Cisco's signature employee giving campaign. It builds on our decades-long commitment to supporting our communities around the world. Employees can give to more than 1900 organizations worldwide, regardless of impact area. Every dollar makes a difference and employees are encouraged to access the Cisco Foundation match to multiply the impact of their gift.

Our People Deal in action

One of the cornerstones of Our People Deal is the promise of benefiting everyone. Every day, we connect resources, technology and our employees to communities to help change the world for the better.

Worldwide giving campaign

Donations of up to US$10,000 made through the Annual Giving Campaign are matched, multiplying the impact of every gift. Volunteer events build a human network of support in our communities, and every employee volunteer hour is matched by a US$10 donation from the Cisco Foundation.

  • In 2016, Cisco raised more than US$7.1 million in direct employee donations and matching funds from over 10,000 donors. Funds benefitted over 1,200 non-profits in 45 countries
  • In 2017, Cisco continues to inspire employees to give to their causes of choice. Employees can choose from 3700+ nonprofits, NGOs, and schools eligible to receive the Cisco match. New this year, employees are eligible to receive up to US$10,000 in matching all year long, including but not limited to the campaign.

Benefitting everyone: 2016 campaign

  • US$7.1 in employee donations and matching gifts generated

  • 10,000+ employees around the world donated

  • 1200 organizations worldwide benefited from Cisco employee contributions

Giving back to our communities has been a cornerstone of Cisco’s culture. Your time, talent and treasure make big impacts to those in need across the globe.
