Welcome to the Cisco Logo and Copyright Permission Request page. You may seek permission to use the Cisco corporate logo or other Cisco copyrighted materials.

Request Tool

You will be asked a short series of questions that will help determine your relationship to Cisco, what you are looking for, and how you intend to use the material. You will receive a response based on Cisco policy and in some cases directed to the appropriate web resource. In other cases you will be asked to fill out a form for further review of your request and we will contact you by email. Please disable any pop-up blockers in your Web browser before submitting your request.

Other than the Cisco corporate logo, all other logos are managed by their individual Program Offices. Contacts for other Cisco logos (partner and individual certification) can be found on the Logo Program page of the Brand Center.

Logo Information

Cisco has a "no-endorsement" policy and rarely grants permission to third parties to use the Cisco corporate logo.

Exceptions may be made for:

  • Events for which Cisco is a major sponsor
  • Some bona fide educational uses
  • News media

For any exception to Cisco's "no-endorsement" policy, you must identify a Cisco employee who sponsors your request. There will be a field in the online form for you to supply your Cisco contact's name and email address.

Copyright Information

No written permission is required for use of some Cisco copyrighted materials (such as product photography, diagram icons, and some Cisco.com screen shots). Please refer to the Copyright Program for details. For example, we often grant permission to use Cisco copyrighted material for bona fide educational purposes and to systems integrators working on government contracts.

Other than the specific exceptions listed on the Copyright Program website, Cisco does not grant permissions to use Cisco copyrighted material for any purpose (including the use of Cisco works in for-profit books and compilations).

For any requests to use Cisco copyrighted materials, you will be asked for the name and email address of a Cisco employee who sponsors your request (e.g., a Cisco person who is responsible for authoring and/or managing the specific copyrighted materials). Requests without a Cisco employee sponsor cannot be processed
