Problem Description
IPCC Express Cisco Agent Desktop does not install on a system with Internet Explorer version 7.
Background
Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD) is the client which is installed on Contact Center Agent desktops. Currently the only version of Internet Explorer that is supported is IE version 6.
Problem Symptoms
During the install of CAD, the users will get the following error:
"Runtime Error C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\IM\InstallManager.exe Abnormal program termination"
The installation will then abort.
A "Parameter Incorrect" error message will also appear after entering the IP address and port number.
Workaround/Solution
The workaround for this issue is to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and then install Internet Explorer 6, which is available at the Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 download page.

This issue will be resolved in the CRS 4.0(5) release.
