Problem Description
15310-28WBE-3BBE, 15310-28WBE-3BBE=, 15310-84WBE-3BBE, and 15310-84WBE-3BBE= cards fail to boot. These boards were inadvertently shipped with a diagnostic test script variable set which will prevent the board from booting in the system. This will appear as a DOA board. The affected boards will have one of the serial numbers listed above.
Background
The 3-DS3/DS1-28 and 3-DS3/DS1-84 cards have failed to boot upon installation. This issue has been replicated in testing. The issue has been corrected.
Problem Symptoms
The 15310-28WBE-3BBE and 15310-84WBE-3BBE cards will fail to boot. The DIAGBOOT variable was improperly set to YES, and unchanged, causing boot failure.
Workaround/Solution
This issue has been corrected and current inventory has been purged. Customers possessing a card with a serial number from the list above may request an RMA replacement by contacting the TAC. There is no field procedure to correct this issue.
