Problem Description
The Desktop Administrator Backup Tool (DABackupTool) will error when backing up Directory Services that contain phonebook entries.
Background
A potential memory corruption is possible when backing up global phonebooks, causing the tool to abort processing.
Problem Symptoms
Several symptoms are possible as a result of this issue.

Incomplete data backup.

The Desktop Administrator Backup Tool (DABackupTool.exe) may fail when global phone books exist. The tool will end prematurely and present a message that says An error has ocurred. or Some errors have occurred. Check the log.

The CAD Data Backup/Restore Tool (CDBRTool.exe) fails due to missing information.
Workaround/Solution
An updated DABackupTool.exe for CAD 4.6 has been created to resolve this issue. This tool is required for any upgrade from 4.6 to 6.0 or 7.0.
The tool is available at the Contact Center Software Download Page (registered customers only) .
All installation documentation for CAD 6.x and 7.x has been updated to provide information on where to get the correct version of DABackupTool.exe for CAD 4.6.
