Problem Description
A Cisco voice gateway may reload when receiving Muticast Music on Hold from CCM and a call is put on hold. The problem does not exist when a CME router is the source of Multicast Music on Hold.
Background
Customers who are using a Cisco voice gateway with Cisco CallManager (CCM) may experience a reload when a call is placed on hold and resumed when Multicast Music on Hold is being received from CCM or another multicast source. This issue will only be experienced if the customer is running Cisco IOS® Software 12.3(11)T4 or 12.3(11)T5. The issue is resolved with 12.3(11)T6. All versions of CCM are effected.
Problem Symptoms
The Cisco voice gateway may reload when an IP phone is placed on hold and music on hold is being received.
Workaround/Solution
The problem exists in 12.3(11)T4 and 12.3(11)T5. The problem is fixed in 12.3(11)T6. The problem does not depend upon CCM version.
