This issue can be avoided by specifying no more than two community strings per NE with a maximum string length of 20 characters per community string.
Workaround/Solution
This issue has been resolved in Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) R5.0.0 available in January 2005.
Note:?Customers must upgrade to the 15600-SSXC after upgrade to CTC R5.0.0. To obtain the 15600-SSXC's necessary to support CTC R5.0.0, submit your request using the 15600-SSXC Upgrade Program.
For customers that are currently running CTC Releases R1.0, R1.1.0, R1.1.1, R1.1.2, R1.1.3, R1.3.1 and R1.4.0, do NOT specify more than 2 SNMP community strings or exceed 20 characters per community string.
